“Harvell”

2 Rounds For Time with a Partner:

11 Rope Climbs
200 meter buddy carry
33 Power Cleans, 135/95
400 meter buddy carry
55 Front Squats, 135/95
66 Burpees with 1 additional
push-up at the bottom

This workout takes awhile. We'll start 10-15 minutes into each class, so if you prefer some extra warm-up time, please feel free to come early. As always, it can be scaled as necessary for all fitness levels.

Today is a special tribute workout in which we strive to honor SSGT Andy Harvell: dedicated soldier, husband, friend, and father of two.  Along with 30 other American heroes, “Big Andy” gave his life for his country on August 6, 2011, when their CH-47 helicopter was shot down in Wardak Province, Afghanistan.  Some of Andy’s closest friends have set up a scholarship fund for his two sons, Hunter and Ethan.  If you’d like to support the cause, you’re welcome to make a donation today, with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund.  It’s a challenging but scaleable partner workout.  All are welcome; either come in with a friend or pair up when you get here.
