“This dude is as real as it gets. Seeing Justin Medeiros compete today, it was hard to hold back the tears with him.

Whether the athlete chose to compete or not compete today, the hurt is real and either decision is hard. Watching Justin compete next to an empty lane where Lazar should have been is heartbreaking.

This is the time to support the entire community and put aside what you think each athlete should have done. Because like I said, the hurt is real. These athletes care a lot. And not a single athlete made their decision for themselves.
